Expectant…

I wanted to take the time to introduce you to the 10 women currently enrolled in the Sarobidy Maternity Center’s prenatal program.  The staff and I consider it an honor and privilege to get to know these women and walk alongside of them during these months leading up to the birth of their babies and then for the 6 months after their babies are born while they are in the postpartum/child development program.

 

Rose, 27 years old, single, expecting her second baby in November.  Rose has already lost 1 baby to premature birth.

Fanja, 24 years old, single, expecting her second baby in September.  Muslim.

Judicia, 17 years old, single, expecting her first baby in August.

Sylvia, 21 years old, married, expecting her first baby in September.

Prisca, 19 years old, single, expecting her first baby in July.

Monique, 35 years old, married, expecting her 5th baby in September.  Monique has already lost 1 baby at 9 hours old.

Claudette. 34 years old, married, expecting her third baby in October.

Zalestiny, 17 years old, married, expecting her second baby in September.

Tiana, 35 years old, single, expecting her third baby in December.  Tiana lost 1 baby 5 days after birth as a result of breech delivery complications.

Eugenie, 22 years old, married, expecting her first baby in February.  Eugenie is also a full-time employee of Eden Projects.

Please join us in praying for these ladies by name.  They have experienced a ton of in their lives.  We pray that their time with us at Sarobidy Maternity Center will be a precious time… full of education, understanding, respectful maternal care, friendship and experiences that would draw them to Christ.

*all women have given their explicit permission to share their pictures and stories.
